Marcia Watson Wasserman is the President of Comprehensive Management Solutions, Inc. and has over 25 years of experience in human resources, general operations, and administrative management consulting. She was previously employed as a law firm Executive Director of several major local and national law firms. Her expertise includes business formations and relocations; recruitment; compensation and benefits administration; the development of employee handbooks and job descriptions; strategic planning; retreat facilitation; marketing strategy and management training programs.

In recent engagements, Marcia project managed multiple start-ups of law firms with 2 to 15 attorneys. Other typical engagements include: facilitating strategic planning retreats for companies; preparing cash flow projections for new businesses; writing employee handbooks and disaster recovery plans for companies; conducting sexual harassment and management training seminars; recruiting chief financial officers, bookkeepers and administrators for clients; assisting businesses in planning the relocation of their offices; and serving as marketing director for a professional services firm.

Marcia graduated from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management Executive Program with a Certificate in Management. She also studied Communications and Interior Design at UCLA. Additionally, she has a Certificate in Legal Administration from the University of San Diego and a Certificate from the Advanced Legal Management Institute at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. She serves as an advisor on the State Bar of California’s Law Practice Management and Technology Section Executive Committee and Co-Chairs the Managing Partners Forum for the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Since 2002, Marcia has Chaired the monthly law firm Managing Partners Roundtable.

Marcia has taught management courses at USC and UCLA. Additionally, she has lectured on the topic of management issues at local, regional and national educational conferences. Marcia has authored numerous articles on management and operational topics.

Marcia is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Professionals In Human Resources Association, American Society for Training & Development, and the Institute of Management Consultants. Marcia is listed in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who In American Law, and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry. She received the Board of Governors Award from the Beverly Hills Bar Association in 1999. Marcia currently serves as Vice Chair of the Southern California Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, from whom she received the 2002 Distinguished Service Award.
